Term One - Week Two

Kia ora Whānau

Welcome to week 2 of our 11 week Term.

We hope you all had a wonderful long weekend.
What a treat it was to listen to our children explain their holiday mementos this morning. We found lots of connections and 'themes' running through. We loved hearing the discussions taking place as children explained thinking about 'where' to place their hexagons and 'why' they could connect to others.

Below are some photos of the work we did with our hexagon's. Hexagons are the 'puzzle pieces' which help us to frame up our thinking in a visual way when working with our learners. We can easily see what ideas connect.

As usual team, any questions or queries please do get in touch.

We are here to help.

Many thanks
T&T
Tina and Tania.
