Ngā Puna get together

 Kia ora koutou,

 

It was great news to hear we are moving to Alert level 1 so quickly. 
It will be awesome to see you all in the morning back to our normal routines. Thanks again for your support during the brief level change. The children have been amazing and we were definitely impressed at how independent and brave they were.

 

Because of the level change we will be having our Ngā Puna get together as planned.
We will be meeting at the school pool from 5.00 till 6.30. Bring along some dinner and PJ’s for the kids to get changed into after swimming. We look forward to seeing you there.

  Welcome to Ngā Puna - 'The Springs’ We (Tina Dower, Tania Stott and Lynley Cummack) are thrilled to be working together as the New Entrant teachers in Ngā Puna. Term 4 - Week 6

Kia Ora whanau. Welcome to week 6 of our 9 week Term. They certainly are flying by! A big thank you to our fabulous caretaker Darren who has our pool up and running. Soo lucky to have a school pool! Please send named togs and towels in a tog bag to school daily. We only go if the outside temperature is 16 degrees or above. Initially, we focus on safe entry and exit of the school pool, gaining water confidence, and moving in different ways through the water. Our official times are: Tania and Tina- Tuesday/Friday  Vanessa and Sue- Monday/Wednesday Even though these are official times the kids can bring their togs and towels each day just in case there is a free-swimming slot. Autumn Exploring - Our trip to St James Park

 What a wonderful time we had last Friday 'Spotting Autumn'. As always with school trips, the journey was as exciting as the destination! We travelled down the cycleway and found a most marvellous path to run down. We loved watching the children show each other Manaakitanga by encouraging and helping their friends up the steep bank. When we got to the park we enjoyed crunching through the leaves and finding conker seeds. The leaves were beautifully dry, perfect for rolling on! Here are some photos below of our trip.
